New Opportunities for CTE Teacher Certification
Last year, the South Dakota Department of Education revised CTE teacher certification rules to provide more consistency and flexibility for teachers and school districts in how teachers become certified. Come learn more about how you or others in your district can become certified under this new system! More information is located at http://doe.sd.gov/octe/CTEcertification.aspx

Transform Your CTE & Career Development Programs: Ideas for Workforce Education Grants
In 2013, the South Dakota Legislature established the Workforce Education Grant fund which designated $1.5 Million to provide grants for Career & Technical Education (CTE) in secondary schools. These grants provide school districts in South Dakota the opportunity to make transformative change in career and technical education programs.

This session will highlight previous grant award winners and will provide participants with an opportunity to ask questions about future grant applications.
