The aging of the baby boomers is a hot topic for professionals working in human services and health care. Did you know baby boomer aging is the leading edge of a long term trend? Low birth rates suggest our population will be older, even after the baby boomers are no longer with us. What does this mean for work force development? Accurate knowledge about aging will be necessary for professional and organizational success. This presentation will provide an overview of ageism, its impact, and strategies to reduce ageism in young people.
